When booking your holiday with Belfast Telegraph Travel in association with Travel Department, you can rest assured that you are fully protected, as Travel Department are licensed and bonded by ATOL.
As the details of the UK’s relationship with the European Union after 29th March 2019 are still unclear, we wanted to give you some reassurances about booking a holiday with us, particularly to Europe.
There are some uncertainties around some areas of travel but most aspects of travel to EU countries will remain fundamentally unchanged and these are outlined in the advice published by ABTA (the Association of British Travel Agents) which can be found here.
Flights will continue to operate, UK citizens will not need a visa until at least 2021 (although it is recommended that your passport is valid for six months after your planned date of arrival in an EU country) and appropriate travel insurance will protect you in the event of illness or accident
Most importantly of all, your booking with Travel Department is fully ATOL protected so in the unlikely event that we are unable to operate your holiday as planned, you will be entitled to a full refund.
Considering the Brexit uncertainty for our customers, we have reduced deposits on all holidays to just £50pp on all departures up to June 2019.

There’s also a tool for UK customers to use to check the validity of their passports for travel to the EU here.
