Depart for Dubrovnik
We depart on our direct flight to Dubrovnik, where we are met by our local representative and transferred to our hotel. We'll also receive plenty of helpful information to help us make the most of our holiday from the moment we arrive.
Discover Dubrovnik
Morning Guided Tour of Dubrovnik
After breakfast, we join our expert local guide for a half-day tour to discover Dubrovnik's fascinating history and remarkable architecture.
- Explore the city’s historic streets
- Learn about the city’s rich past
- Visit some of the city’s most important landmarks
Entrance to the Franciscan Monastery and Dubrovnik Cathedral is included, giving us the opportunity to experience two of the city's most significant historic sites.
At Leisure
The afternoon is free to enjoy at your own pace.
You may wish to take the cable car to the top of Srd Hill, where spectacular views stretch across Dubrovnik's Old Town and the Adriatic coastline. Our guide will also be happy to recommend some of the city's hidden gems for us to discover.
Elaphite Islands
Cruise the Elaphite Islands
After breakfast, we meet our guide for a full-day excursion to the beautiful Elaphite Islands. Its name was taken from the Greek word for "deer" and was first recorded by the Roman geographer Pliny the Elder in the 1st century AD.
As we cruise between the islands:
- Relax and enjoy the peaceful, unspoilt archipelago scenery
- Eat lunch served on board
- Enjoy live entertainment from a traditional Croatian band performing local music alongside well-known favourites
Please note: In the event of unsuitable weather, this excursion may be rescheduled or follow an alternative route.
Free Time in Dubrovnik
At Leisure
Today is yours to explore more of Dubrovnik at your own pace. You can:
- Wander the city's beautiful limestone streets
- Visit its monasteries, churches and museums
- Relax in one of the many cafés overlooking the historic centre
Before you head off to explore independently, our guide will be happy to share local recommendations to help you make the most of your free day.
If you’d like to venture a little further, there are several fascinating places to visit nearby by bus:
- The charming coastal town of Cavtat
- The fishing village of Mlini
- Ston, home to the world's second-longest defensive stone wall after the Great Wall of China
For those wishing to discover another country, Montenegro is within easy reach on a day trip. Highlights include the historic streets of Budva Old Town and the spectacular setting of Kotor.
Korcula Island
Discover Korcula Island
Today's full-day guided excursion begins with a scenic drive along the Adriatic coast.
- We continue through the Pelješac Peninsula
- Pass renowned vineyards on our way to the coastal town of Orebić.
- Then, board a short boat crossing to the island of Korčula
This is where our guided walking tour introduces us to its narrow medieval streets, beautiful churches and impressive historic buildings. Entrance to the Abbey Treasury is included.
After the tour, we'll have free time to enjoy lunch, relax by the crystal-clear waters or take a refreshing swim before returning by boat to Orebić for our coach journey back to Dubrovnik.
Free Time in Dubrovnik or Optional Excursion to Mostar
Explore Dubrovnik at Your Own Pace
Today is free to enjoy however you choose. You may prefer to:
- Unwind at your hotel
- Take a swim in the clear waters of the Adriatic
- Savour local specialities in one of Dubrovnik's welcoming cafés and restaurants
Alternatively, you can continue exploring the atmospheric streets of the Old Town, browse local shops or revisit some of our favourite sights.
Optional Excursion: Mostar
You also have the opportunity to join an optional full-day excursion accompanied by a local guide to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005.
- Explore the historic Old Town
- Visit the iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge), an elegant stone bridge that has become the city's defining landmark
- Enjoy the unique blend of Eastern and Western influences, reflected in Mostar’s architecture, culture and vibrant atmosphere
Following the guided tour, there will be free time to browse the colourful bazaar or relax before beginning our return journey.
Please note: The journey takes approximately 3.5 hours each way, depending on traffic and border crossings, with a comfort stop included. A valid passport is required for travel into Bosnia and Herzegovina. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended if you plan to cross the Old Bridge.

- Relax beside the Adriatic
- Enjoy a leisurely lunch overlooking the sea

It's time to bid farewell to Dubrovnik. We transfer to the airport with guide assistance for our flight home, bringing our holiday to a close.
