On arrival in Cairo, you will be met by our local representative before transferring to your hotel. For late-night or early-morning arrivals, hotel rooms will be ready for check-in on arrival.
Grand Egyptian Museum and Khan el Khalili Bazaar
The Grand Egyptian Museum
Following breakfast, we’ll depart our hotel for an excursion to the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Opened in 2025, this remarkable museum is home to an extensive collection of Egyptian antiquities and highlights include the magnificent King Tutankhamen Galleries and King Khufu’s Solar Boat.
Lunch & El Khalili Bazaar
After lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll visit Khan el Khalili Bazaar, one of Cairo’s most atmospheric markets.
This evening, enjoy a welcome drink at your hotel, offering an opportunity to get to know your fellow travellers.
Pyramids of Giza, Great Sphinx and Flight to Luxor

Following a leisurely breakfast, we’ll check out of our hotel and depart for our excursion to the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx.
The three pyramids and the sphinx, a mythical statue with the body of a lion and the face of a man, are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Fly to Luxor
Transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. On arrival, transfer to the pier to embark on your seven-night Nile cruise.

Luxor to Edfu

After breakfast, we’ll visit the Necropolis of Thebes.
This UNESCO World Heritage Site contains many funerary temples erected by kings and nobility to perform religious rituals for the spirits of the dead.
Our visit this morning includes the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.
Sail to Edfu
Lunch will be served on board your ship before sailing onwards to Edfu via Esna Lock.

Temple of Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan

This morning, join our guide on a short coach transfer for a visit to the Ptolemaic Temple of Edfu. Built between 237 and 57 BC, this impressive temple honours Horus, the falcon-headed god.
Temple of Kom Ombo
After lunch on board, visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, and renowned for its twin entrance halls and sanctuaries.

High Dam, Philae Temple and Nubian Village

After breakfast on board, visit the High Dam and Philae Temple.
Dedicated to the goddess Isis, Philae Temple was dismantled and reassembled on Agilika Island, about 550m from its original home on Philae Island, after the High Dam caused river levels to rise close to the historic site.
Nubian Village Visit
After lunch, take a leisurely motorboat trip around Elephantine Island, the oldest inhabited area in Aswan.
Our visit also includes the Nubian Village on Seheil Island, where we’ll discover the hospitality and traditional way of life of the Nubians as you visit their homes and markets.
