Beautifully situated along both sides of the Long Water in the grounds of Hampton Court Palace, the flower show takes place at the height of summer when every plant is at its best. With wonderful floral marquees, exciting contemporary and traditional show gardens, an area particularly devoted to some of the best nurseries in Britain, and stalls selling all garden equipment and accessories, this is the perfect day out for gardeners. We’ll also enjoy guided tours of the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew and RHS Garden at Wisley.

MorningOn arrival in London, you will transfer by private coach to the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew for a guided tour. There will be free time to explore on your own or to visit the shop.

AfternoonIn the late afternoon, transfer to your hotel in Twickenham. The evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure and Iain will be available to advise or escort you to a local restaurant.

Full DayDepart after breakfast for a full day at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. Transfer by coach to the River Thames, then an option for a short boat ride (at own expense) or a stroll along the riverside path to arrive at the Show when it opens at 10am. Enjoy a full day at the show experiencing a variety of attractions, from the designer gardens, large & small, to the Festival of Roses marquee showcasing colourful blooms and striking, scented rose displays. Browse, buy and get expert advice from the best exhibitors and nurseries in the Floral Marquee, which has a diverse range of plants on offer, as well as wonderful eye-catching displays. Iain will give you advice and hints on how best to navigate this extensive and fascinating horticultural extravaganza so that you get the best out of your day.
(There is a lot of walking involved today and the bus may have to park some distance from the entrance into the show. )
