Travel with us to the Algarve to unwind and see some of the top sights of Portugal. We’ll be perfectly based in Vilamoura, which boasts beautiful beaches like Praia da Marina, and from here we’ll enjoy plenty of delightful excursions.  We’ll visit the old town of Lagos, then take a boat trip around the remarkable Algarve coast in a traditional sailing boat. On our walking tour in Tavira, we’ll see why it’s called the ‘Venice of the Algarve’ with its impressive architecture and the Gilao River crossing into the town. On a guided excursion to Ayamonte in Spain, we’ll enjoy another serene boat trip on the Guadiana River and take in the photogenic scenery. This holiday in Portugal also includes plenty of leisure time to relax or see more of the Algarve, with recommendations from our expert guide.
