    This morning you will have a full day to relax and settle into your hotel. Why not get your bearings with a leisurely stroll through Puerto de la Cruz, which has a great selection of bars, restaurants and cafes and is surrounded by several beaches.  Or else, take a stroll down the beach at Playa Jardin, one of the black lava sand beaches for which the volcanic island of Tenerife is renowned. The choice is yours!

    Discover Santa Cruz & La Laguna

    Today it’s time to discover more of Tenerife with half day guided excursion to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, one of Spain’s busiest seaports and the joint capital of the Canary Islands. We will take time to explore this vibrant city and admire its stunning architecture including the iconic Auditorio de Tenerife. We will then travel to the UNESCO World Heritage site of La Laguna. Here we will see its impressive cathedral and the old colonial city architecture, with its brightly coloured buildings, a must see on any Tenerife holiday.

    Icod de los Vinos & Las Americas

    Let’s uncover more of the top things to see in Tenerife with a full day’s guided tour of the island. Our first port of call is the village of Icod de los Vinos on the west coast, which is famous for the Canary Islands Dragon Tree. This subtropical tree-like plant is the symbol of Tenerife and is said to be over a thousand years old. We will then continue to the resort town of Playa de Las Americas for some free time, seeing views of the spectacular Los Gigantes Cliffs en route.

    This afternoon, we'll visit the Basilica of Candelaria, to view the famous statue of the Black Madonna and bronze statues of the ‘Guanches’. The Guanches were the original inhabitants of the Canary Islands, and their statues flank the square in front of the Basilica, standing guard in front of this architecturally ornate pilgrimage site.

    Savour more of your relaxing holiday in Tenerife with a full day to enjoy at your leisure. Why not take some time of the other attractions outside the town centre, such as the botanical gardens, which have a large range of tropical and subtropical trees, plants and flowers. Or else relax on the beach or enjoy a coffee and watch the world go by in a waterfront café.

    Guided Tour of Mount Teide

    Today it’s time to discover more of the best of Tenerife. with a half day guided tour to the volcanic Mount Teide National Park. Dominated by the highest peak in Spain, Mount Teide itself, this is a true highlight of any trip to Tenerife. On the way, we will pass through the evergreen valley of La Orotava. The soil here is home to some very rare flora due to the lava flows on the flanks of the mountain. Next, we will enter the breath-taking National Park of Mount Teide, a lunar landscape filled with fascinating rock formations, hidden caves, and bright volcanic colours. We will then stop at the foot of Mt Teide for a closer look before returning to our hotel in time for lunch.

    On your final day take some time to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Why not take a walk to Puerto de la Cruz and shop for some last-minute souvenirs or visit Loro Parque (Parrot Park), which is a theme park and zoo that is amongst the largest in the world.
