    Your Guided Group Holiday to the Cotswolds & Bath

    Discover some of England’s most picturesque towns and villages with us on this 5-night guided holiday. Accompanied by an expert, local guide, we’ll visit must-see destinations throughout the English countryside. During our holiday, we’ll stay in the charming town of Cheltenham, centrally located to enjoy four full day excursions to the region’s most stunning sights. We’ll explore Shakespeare’s birthplace in Stratford-Upon-Avon; spend a day visiting the scenic villages of the Cotswolds; and travel back in time to Ancient Rome on a trip to Bath. We also offer an optional excursion where we can discover England’s oldest and most prestigious university, Oxford, and pay a visit to the royal residence of Windsor Castle.

    Transfer to Cheltenham

    On arrival in Birmingham, let’s meet with our local guide and transfer to our hotel in Cheltenham town centre. You will have the remainder of the day to spend at your leisure.

    Visit Stratford-Upon-Avon

    Let’s travel back through time with a guided tour of this little Tudor style town, cherished by all history & literature lovers, as it’s William Shakespeare birthplace, home to a dedicated Shakespeare Museum and Anne Hathaway’s Cottage. After a short guided tour you will have some time at leisure to explore at your own pace and admire the pretty streets and half-timbered houses.

    After returning to Cheltenham, you will have the afternoon free to enjoy the city and our guide would be delighted to recommend activities to suit your interests.

    Full Day Excursion to the Cotswolds Region

    Time: Full DayFull Day

    Today our local guide will take us on a full-day excursion of the picturesque Cotswolds region. After visiting the Cheltenham racecourse (internationally famous as the home of the National Hunt Racing Festival), all aboard the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway* for a scenic train journey through the gentle valleys of Cotswold countryside. We finish our train journey at Broadway and continue our journey hopping from villages to little towns like Chipping Campden, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Stow-on-the-World.

    *Please note: In July the Warwickshire Steam Railway will not be operating, instead it will be replaced with a visit to Sudeley Castle.

    Enjoy a day at leisure to see more of Cheltenham and perhaps take a walk through Pittville Park. Our guide will be delighted to recommend activities to suit your interests.

    Please note: Sunday 21st of September 2025, a Cheltenham Half Marathon will take place, and the roads will be closed from 7am. 

    Optional Excursion to Oxford & Windsor

    Optional full day excursion to discover the prestigious setting of the university city of Oxford and its vibrant student atmosphere. Let’s discover more of its medieval university buildings such as the Radcliffe Camera and the Bodleian Library before heading to Windsor for the afternoon.

    Here we’ll visit Windsor castle, the largest castle in the UK and home to the British Royal Family. Let’s visit its iconic buildings such as St George’s Chapel and the State Apartments.

    Please note: Optional excursion will not be available for the September departure due to the Cheltenham Half Marathon on Sunday 21st September because of which the roads will be closed from 7am.

    Explore the Historical City of Bath

    Time: Full DayFull Day

    Let’s visit one of the best-preserved Roman legacies: baths in natural hot springs. Their health benefits made the city famous, especially among the 18th century aristocracy, who left their mark on the city with its Georgian neoclassic design, particularly the Royal Crescent. Let’s discover Bath with our local guide including of course visiting the Romans Baths with entrance included.

    Depart England

    Time to say goodbye to this beautiful part of England. Let’s travel from our hotel to Birmingham airport with our local guide for our flight home.
