After a transfer from the airport, you arrive in Umbria and check in and appreciate the breathtaking countryside.
Bevagna to Montefalco
Olive groves and Vineyards
Begin with time to look around Bevagna before starting the walk. Your guide will lead the route through olive groves and vineyards, highlighting features of the landscape and local farming traditions.
The climb into Montefalco is steady, and on arrival, your guide will point out the main landmarks and share background on the town’s history and wine heritage before giving you time to explore independently.

Monteluco and the Bridge of Towers
Views over Spoleto
Today, your guide leads the group along the Via dei Condotti on Monteluco. Along the way they will explain the significance of this ancient route and point out views over Spoleto.
Back in the town, the guide will outline the main sites—such as the cathedral, Roman amphitheatre, museums, and the Bridge of Towers—before you have free time to visit the places that interest you most.

The Aqueduct Ring Walk
Travel with your guide to Spello
Travel with your guide to Spello, where they will give a short orientation through the historic centre before the walk begins.
Pass through the Porta Montanara and follow your guide uphill into the olive groves for views of Monte Subasio and the Vale of Spoleto. The route follows the line of the former aqueduct, and your guide will explain how it once supplied the town.
Continue to Collepino, a small village with time for a brief look around, before descending the Olive Trail back into Spello.

The area around Lake Trasimeno has small wine producers and food shops offering tastings. The guide can suggest a couple of reliable options nearby.
4. Relax at the Hotel
Guests may prefer a slower day—reading, resting, or enjoying the hotel’s surroundings.

Your guide can recommend a short, well-marked route suitable for independent walking, depending on weather and interests.
Lake Trasimeno and Farm Visit
Circular walk around Passignano
Set off from the hotel with your guide on a circular walk around Passignano. They will point out features connected to the area’s past and explain the landscape as the route loops back to the lakeside.
At the farm, your guide will introduce you to Flavio, who will explain his work with Cinta Senese pigs and the cultivation of the Fagiolina del Trasimeno bean. A simple lunch with tastings is included.
Later, your guide accompanies the group by boat to Isola Maggiore and leads a short walk on the island, giving context to its medieval history and rural traditions.

The Forest of St Francis - Walk from the town into the Forest of St Francis before following an old rocky path beneath the Basilica of St Francis. Your guide will point out features connected with the Franciscan story and the area’s natural history.
