Your Guided Solo Traveller Group Holiday to Costa Brava and Catalonia

Join us on the solo traveller tour to discover Catalonia, a vibrant region of Spain where stunning coastlines, historic cities and rich culture come together. We’ll be based in Pineda de Mar, on the Costa Brava, where sandy beaches and a relaxed coastal setting provide the perfect place to unwind, while offering an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. Barcelona is within easy reach, where we’ll see the impressive exterior of the Sagrada Família, one of Gaudí’s most celebrated creations. We’ll also explore lively Las Ramblas, the city’s famous tree-lined boulevard, before wandering through the Gothic Quarter, a maze of narrow streets, historic buildings and atmospheric squares that reveal the city’s medieval past. We’ll visit a renowned winery for a Cava tasting before continuing to Tarragona, where we’ll discover its historic centre and Roman heritage. We'll spend a day exploring Girona, including its Cathedral, followed by a visit to the coastal town of Tossa de Mar. We’ll also travel by rack railway to Montserrat, home to a Benedictine Abbey and set among the surrounding mountains. With two leisure days and an optional excursion to Figueres and the Dalí Theatre-Museum, this 7-night holiday in Spain is a great way to experience Catalonia.
