On this unforgettable holiday to Spain, we’ll discover this sunny, vibrant region, while staying in the authentically Andalucían towns of Loja or Antequera, and Granada. Surrounded by dramatic mountains and green valleys, this area is known as Andalucía's heart and is the perfect base from which we’ll take day trips to explore Seville, Córdoba and Granada, three of southern Spain's most remarkable cities. On this trip, you’ll also enjoy plenty of leisure time. Enjoy the whitewashed plazas and narrow streets of Loja or Antequera, and explore the medieval architecture of Granada, all while soaking up the atmosphere of the real Spain.

    • Hotel Antequera in Antequera is on a half board basis and the Catalonia hotel in Granada is on bed & breakfast basis.

    Today, we’ll visit Seville, Andalucía’s lively and colourful city on the banks of the River Guadalquivir. Famous for flamenco, tapas and its rich cultural and architectural heritage, Seville is a memorable highlight of this Andalucia tour. 

    During our tour, we’ll discover:

    Guided Walking Tour of the UNESCO World Heritage City

    This full-day excursion introduces us to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Cordoba, one of the great cities of the medieval world. 

    We’ll enjoy a guided walking tour of the historic centre, where one of its greatest treasures is the magnificent Mezquita. Formerly the Great Mosque, it now serves as a Christian cathedral and remains one of the city’s most remarkable landmarks.

    Antequera and Dolmen de Menga

    Our visit begins with the impressive Dolmen de Menga, one of the oldest monuments in Spain and dating back to the Megalithic period. 

    You will then have time at leisure to stroll through the charming streets and squares of this typically Andalucian town, taking in its relaxed atmosphere at your own pace.

    Travel to Granada

    Morning Transfer to Granada

    Today, we’ll leave Antequera and travel to the medieval city of Granada, where you will spend the final three nights of your holiday. 

    Once you have settled into your hotel, the rest of the day is free for you to explore the city at your own pace and get to know your surroundings.

    Guided Tour of Alhambra and Generalife Gardens, UNESCO Sites

    Today, we’ll depart for a guided city tour of Granada, one of the most enchanting and historic cities in Andalucia. 

    Our visit includes the Generalife Gardens and the UNESCO-listed Alhambra complex, one of Spain’s most iconic and visited historic sites.

    While access to the full Alhambra complex is requested, including the Nasrid Palaces, Alcazaba and other key areas, entry to these palaces cannot be guaranteed due to limited ticket availability and high demand. If full access is not possible, your visit will still include the beautiful Generalife Gardens and surrounding areas. 

    Important Information: In order to request Alhambra tickets, full passport details are required well in advance. Without these, entrance tickets cannot be secured. Please ensure your passport information is provided at the time of booking.

    At Leisure in Granada

    Explore Granada Independently

    Time: Full DayFull Day

    Spend today at leisure and enjoy Granada at your own pace. You may wish to: 

    • Explore more of the city independently 
    • Try a few traditional Andalucian tapas in a local restaurant 
    • Pause and watch the world go by

    This relaxed day gives you time to absorb the atmosphere of Granada before your guided Andalucia tour comes to an end.

    Depart Malaga, Spain

    Today, our Highlights of Andalucia holiday comes to an end. We’ll transfer you to Malaga airport for your flight home with assistance from our guide, as you take away happy memories of Spain.
