As the former national capital of Poland, the city has a history encompassing more than a thousand years and is still a leading cultural centre. During our stay, we’ll enjoy a walking tour of the city that will take us to highlights like St. Mary's Church, one of the best examples of Polish Gothic architecture; the Wawel Cathedral, home to an impressive bell tower that boasts the 13 tonne Sigismund Bell; and the Royal Tombs, the final resting place of 10 Polish kings. We’ll also visit Zakopane, resort town located in the Tatrzanski National Park, which is renowned for its wooden architecture. We’ll also have plenty of leisure time to wander the pretty streets, visit local cafés and museums or shop for presents in the glittering Christmas Markets.

Upon arriving in Krakow, you will be met by our local representative in the arrivals area of the airport before being transferred to your hotel.

You will have the remainder of the afternoon at leisure to relax or explores the glittering Christmas Markets in the Old Town.

Excursion to Zakopane
Today you will have a full day excursion to Zakopane a resort town at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. Enjoy a short guided walk through its charming centre and take in the unique folk atmosphere and scenic landscape. The large market along Krupowki street sells a variety of local crafts and products. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure to shop or further sight-see at your own pace before transferring back to your hotel in Krakow.

Depart Poland
Check out of your hotel and travel to Krakow Airport, with guide assistance, for your return flight.
