Discover Zagreb

Watch Icon Morning

Let's start the day with a half-day walking tour of Zagreb with our expert local guide to discover the heart of Croatia, a city of contrasts, where medieval charm meets contemporary vibrancy. We will wander through Donji Grad, the Lower Town's wide boulevards and squares adorned with Austro-Hungarian architecture. Then we will embark on a funicular ride, connecting the Lower and Upper Towns. As we ascend, we can enjoy panoramic views of the city's rooftops and landmarks. Now we step into the enchanting Upper Town (Gornji Grad), a realm of medieval streets, Baroque churches, and historic squares, where we stroll through St. Mark's Square, where the iconic tiled roof of St. Mark's Church and the medieval Stone Gate captures the essence of Zagreb's rich heritage.

This morning, we will visit more as we embark on a full-day excursion across the Istrian Peninsula. We start our journey in Pula, famous for its Roman architecture. Our guide will take us on a guided walking tour with highlights such as the Amphitheatre (entrance included) which was built at the same time as the magnificent Colosseum in Rome and could seat about 20,000 spectators, making it the 6th biggest in the World.

Rovinj

Watch Icon Afternoon

This afternoon, we continue our journey to discover more, with a guided walking tour of Rovinj, the "pearl of Istria", also called the "most Mediterranean town" and the "most photogenic town of Adriatic". We will visit the Old Town, which sits on a peninsula, a protected historical ensemble. We will experience the sights of this magical town while strolling up narrow streets to the magnificent baroque church of St Euphemia.
